Micah Group is adding an experienced Sr. Product Designer to its rapidly growing team. This is a remote position with the option to work from our Plymouth, MN office
What You’ll Do
Proactively define and work on UX/design debt, design systems, UI kits within the product
Lead usability testing, and user interviews to uncover gaps or issues in the product, and figure out solutions to those problems
Partner with the Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to define problems & goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and launch new features and services
Review other designers work to ensure we are not designing in silos or creating unnecessary edge cases that could be avoided
Iterate, iterate, iterate
What You’ll Need
4–7+ years of professional working experience
Working knowledge of how to create and maintain scalable, repeatable, and successful components
Knowledge of UI best practices
Experience making high impact design choices in complex and often times ambiguous problem spaces
Expertise in Figma, and other adobe products
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A pragmatic approach to product design
Nice to Have
Experience or familiarity with CSS, and HTML
Fintech or financial services industry experience
Knowledge in accessibility standards
Experience working in a product team
Experience creating marketing and sales assets
