We’re building out our foundational product team, who will help form the DNA of the Micah™ platform. As a Product Manager, you’ll be a critical part of an agile team that builds innovative software, iterates quickly, and solves complex problems. This is a remote position with the option to work in our Plymouth, MN office. A background check is required for all roles.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and prioritize a roadmap aligned to the larger product goals/KPIs as directed by company leadership

  • Lead the process of scoping and defining backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the software development team

  • Partner with business leaders to identify gaps in proposed roadmap and services, develop strategies to build or enhance those services, present proposed service enhancements to senior leadership

  • Provide product and industry expertise to support sales, marketing, industry inquiries, regulatory inquiries, workgroups, and industry events

  • Conduct customer research and collaborate on UI wireframes, mockups, and prototypes

  • Unpack client needs and provide solutions that meet business needs without compromising the core platform and roadmap 

  • Help drive impact on important business KPIs using various prioritization techniques to identify and groom features that are high impact

  • Support Scrum and Agile software development approach (e.g., sprint, standups, retros, planning, pointing, grooming, etc.)

  • Mentor team members in agile delivery and product management


What You’ll Need

  • 6-8 years experience or combination experience, education, & performance

  • Experience working in a software company 

  • Experience planning and delivering products and meeting deadlines in an agile environment

  • Ability to gather and transform product feedback into actionable requirements

  • Working knowledge of agile, scrum, and product development lifecycle 

  • Familiarity with product management and related tools 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


Nice to Have

  • Fintech, banking, or financial services industry experience

  • Experience working in a startup environment

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, Logrocket, and G Suite
