DevOps Engineer

We’re building our founding team of engineers, who will form the DNA of the Micah™ platform. As our first DevOps Engineer, you’ll be a critical part of an agile team that builds innovative fintech software and solves complex problems. This opportunity is ideal for a self-starter who wants to make a tangible difference taking the lead on our DevOps processes. Come work with ambitious, kind people who love and excel at what they do!
What You’ll Do
Design, deploy, test, automate, and evolve our complex infrastructure, while working on training and adoption of processes/tools
Analyze needs/requirements to determine feasibility of fulfilling requirements within time and cost constraints
Apply IaC concepts to create automated cloud-based environments
Integrate with our team to deliver solutions in an agile-like manner
Support Scrum and Agile software development approach (e.g., sprints, standups, retros, planning, pointing, grooming, etc.)
What You’ll Need
2–3+ years of DevOps experience
Experience optimizing hardware and software to meet deployment workloads
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and GCP
Experience with CI/CD and IaC frameworks such as Puppet, Terraform or Ansible
Experience with Cloud architecture and infrastructure (Google Cloud preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience with Angular, Angular Material, Angular CLI
Experience with Python and Django or similar
Software development experience
Key-value storage Redis, Google DNS, Google Vision OCR, CI Jenkins
Fintech or financial services industry experience
