Micah Group names Shane Gatz as vice president of engineering
The Micah Group, Inc. (“Micah Group” or “the company”), a FinTech that provides lending software to banks and financing companies, has promoted Shane Gatz to the position of VP of engineering.

As part of the Micah Group leadership team, Gatz will be responsible for providing oversight and strategic direction for both the engineering team and technology roadmap. He brings 30 years of experience as a software engineer and has spent more than 13 years leading technical teams.
Gatz joined Micah Group from Sezzle Inc., a buy now, pay later financial technology company. As principal engineer, he and his team were responsible for providing development support across the company through its record-breaking growth, initial public offering, and international expansion. Prior to Sezzle, Gatz led engineering teams at Avionté Staffing Software and Amano McGann Inc.

Gatz holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
