Micah Group promotes Jenna Bauer to chief operating officer

The Micah Group, Inc. (“Micah Group” or “the company”), a FinTech that provides lending software to banks and financing companies, has promoted Jenna Bauer from chief of staff to chief operating officer.

As part of the company’s leadership team, Bauer will assume a greater role in the management of the business, helping to operationalize processes, grow the team, and manage change. She will continue have executive oversight of operations, HR, business development, marketing, finance, compliance, and partnerships.

Bauer joined Micah Group in January 2021 as VP & head of marketing. In June 2022, she transitioned into a chief of staff role. She draws from more than 12 years’ experience as a business leader in financial services. In her previous role as VP of communications & marketing at Piper Sandler, she quadrupled her team size, leading a team of professionals across the U.S. She also worked closely with the firm’s executive leadership and led communication strategy for corporate acquisitions and key initiatives. 

Bauer holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and a BS from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
